Plastic construction makes these core boxes a good choice when you are faced with outdoor storage of core samples in wet conditions. Constructed of 3mm, 130 lb polypropylene, corrugated for strength and durability. Each core box consists of a bottom piece, a lid, and a partitioned insert. Simply fold along precrased lines; no need for gluing, stapling, or taping. The BX 721 stores 4 feet of core, while the other core boxes listed hold 10 feet of core per box.

A popular core splitter because of its portability. Easy to use. Simply place the core lengthwise on the vee block, then lower the knife blade by rotating the hand wheel. When the knife is in firm contact with the core, a sharp blow with a hammer on the rod cap will cleanly split the core. This core splitter handles core lengths of up to 3-3/4" (95.3mm), and from 3/4" (19mm) to 2-7/8" (73mm) in diameter. Made in Canada. Shipping weight 46 lbs.
