Increment borers are used to extract a core from trees or freshly treated poles, pilings, lumber, or timbers. Tree cores allow you to determine growth rate, age, tree soundness and penetration of chemicals in the wood treating business. The Teflon coating on the bits reduces friction and resin build-up as well as protects the bit from rust. Haglof increment borers are available in either 2 or 3 thread versions and 0.169" (4.3mm) or 0.200" (5.15mm) core diameters.Please specify when you order.
